  When you talk to people who do business in China you will hear that its very difficult to communicate with the Chinese as they tend to say yes when they mean no. It's hard for them to make deadlines so we have to set the deadlines and check points. Their intention is good but when it comes to quality and their eager to get the contract you should beware. Also new Chinese companies want to grow fast.
  One example is that we moved the production from a Dutch company who already was producing in a low wages country ,Poland to China . In Poland we first paid 220 NLG a piece and after investment of 20.000 NLG , we were able to buy (have it produced) the same product for 59 NLG . In this prices all taxes and export/import is included. This company broke even after 6 months and doubled its ROI (returns on investment) after 1 year . after two years the returns dropped to a historic low , but his RAT (Returns After Tax) has never been as high , most competitors can not even buy their goods for the price this company sells it products.
