Last Exit was a short-lived Newcastle band who played their own amalgam of jazz, soul and blues from mid-1974 to early 1977 but were split on whether to move down to London in order to make it big. Sting on bass and vocals. That is the only record featuring Sting which Last Exit recorded. Both songs were produced by David Wood and recorded at Impulse Sound Recording Studio in Newcastle, England. The single has white labels with black printing and no cover. Released in two issues, which are almost equal to each other. The rarest one has a press-out centerhole. Last Exit also issued a nine-track promotional cassette "First From Last Exit ...". |
