The Police - Concert information

Andy: "[..] the night we played there Elvis Costello was giving a free concert in a club [O'Keefe Center], so he sort of blow out our gig really, but we played to a table of A&M people. It was one of our best gigs, there was about fifteen people there. We just had a great time that particular night, the next night wasn't so wonderful".
Stewart: "Gigs haven't all been empty. In Boston we played four nights at The Rat Club".
Sting: "We are celebrities in Boston".
Stewart: "Yeah, we are big in Boston [..] and Boston has a really need scene as a matter of fact. Boston is a good city".
Andy: "The New Wave is definitely stronger in Boston than anywhere else" (WPIX-FM radio-interview w/ Jane Hamburger in New York City; 11-1978).
