The Police headlined the "Dublin Festival 1980", which was their first (and became their only) show in Ireland. The festival started in the afternoon and The Police entered the stage around 6.45pm. The Leixlip Castle is owned by the Guinness family and situated about 5 miles outside of Dublin.
During Walking On The Moon a few bottles were thrown on stage and Sting reacted: "..no more..".
