The Police performed at the seventh edition of the annual "Rockpalast Nacht" concert, which was held on the night of 18 and 19 October. It was broadcasted live on TV and radio across various countries in Europe.
During this event Sting met David Sancious for the first time, who was the keyboardist in Jack Bruce's band. In the period from 1990 to 1994 David worked with Sting on two of his albums and tours.
