Andy joined during the set of The Animals. Parts of this performance appeared on the album "Greatest Hits Live".
Message In A Bottle and Wrapped Around Your Finger were transmitted to the USA by satellite and broadcasted on MTV.
During the end of the show The Police were covered by confetti and ping-pong balls. "Happy New Year" balloons were released in the arena.
After the show a party was held to celebrate the new year and Andy's birthday.
