Sting performed two songs solo on acoustic guitar at the free live outdoor concert at London's Clapham Common.
Beside Sting also Peter Gabriel, Elvis Costello, Big Audio Dynamite, Sade, Gil Scott Heron, Boy George, Billy Bragg, Hugh Masekela, Jerry Dammers, and Maxi Priest performed at this festival.
A compilation of this festival was released on the official video “Freedom Beat” (PAV682), which features a complete version of Message In A Bottle.
