Tickets for this show in Brooklyn went on sale Wednesday 21-02-1996 at 10am and could only be ordered at the Roseland box office or Ticketmaster charge by phone. They cost $50 each, and there's was a limit of two tickets per person. The show sold out in nine minutes.
Before Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot Sting introduced the band: "..and our special guest tonight mister Branford Marsalis. So, you are back!". Branford joined during several songs of the remaining set.
A girl threw a note up to Sting, which he read out loud. In the note, among other things, she requested the song I Miss You Kate. He didn't play it, although he read the note out. On the back of the note, the lyrics to If You There were printed. He didn't sing that either.
All tracks of the new album were performed during this show (even in almost the same order). La Belle Dame Sans Regrets and Valparaiso weren't performed during any other show of the Mercury Falling tour.
When Sting needed a horn section Kenny recommended to contact Butch Thomas. Butch later called Clark Cayton and told him he could work together with him for Sting.
On 03-03-1996 Sting went to the premiere of the movie Birdcage in New York City.
