08-09-1996 / Houston, TX / Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion / USA • Support act: Jars Of Clay. The show (including a little interview with Sting in the beginning) was broadcasted on the Westwood radio network. After I Hung My Head Sting told the audience that throughout that whole song he had some giant bug sitting on his shoulder: "It was quite friendly, but still made me nervous." The guy who attended the three Texas' shows and went up to sing I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying was booed because he was from Louisiana, but did a good job anyway. A sign held up by two "pretty girls" said something to the effect of drinking Sting's bathwater. Sting told that the show was being broadcasted live through the US on radio. |
