Jason Becker Benefit for ALS and Muscular Diseases

The organisation "Jason Becker In Perspective Friends (J.B.I.P.F.)" has organised a charity concert for Jason Becker, ALS and all other muscular diseases on november 16 1997;






Jason Becker

Former guitar prodigy Jason Becker was 19 when he signed with David Lee Roth's band and two weeks later was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a terminal disorder theat causes progressive paralysis). At 27 years old, Jason has released "Perspective", a CD that was five years in the making with a special computer program  that helped him record each piece, one note at the time.

Charity Single

Dutch record label Suburban has released a 3-track CD single with the dutch musicians that attended the concert. Under the name "The Project" they recorded the Vandenberg classic "Burning Heart" (Note: with original Vandenberg drummer Jos Zoomer).
