ppwizard

Starting up ppwizard (HTML preprocessor): An easy way for starting-up new installed ppwizard.

Turbo pascal

Left-click on the items.

Time conversion in the registry file (17 kb.): In the registry file the time is written in Windows NT notation. The format is Qword (8 bytes). This program translates this to the normal time format by 256-base calculation.

Automatic save webcam images from MS Internet Explorer (8 kb.): When you can save the succeeding images of a webcam, you can make a movie of it afterwards. A DOS/Pascal programma, running at the background does the job.
New: Javascript method, more simple.
HTML table code checker (7 kb): This program checks the HTML code on the correct usage of TABLE opcodes.
Calculations on a triangle (45 kb): Goniometrie and trigonometrie. Fill in three known values and the program automatically calculates the other three. Also angle in- and output in minutes and seconds. Easy mouse programming
Midi editor (68kb): Just put the notes on the staff with the mouse. You can play the music and export to .MID
Print with 300 dpi on the HP deskjet. Garden.zip (68 kb): This program contains a routine for printing on the HP deskjet. The example of my garden prfile 49kb. can be unzipped and copied to your printer. My garden has been calculated within an accuracy of 5 cm.
Quikmenu III aid (2kb): You can run DOS quikmenu 3 with more than one menufile.
Calculation of orbits of comets (23kb): Three objects moving in space according to the Newtons law. Variabeles may be changed to get different orbits.
Demonstration of CDS code (43kb): CDS encoding is a method to send data and clock over one channel (line). The signal has no dc contents, so it is able to pass a differentiating network (e.g. series capacitor or transformer) without distortion. For decoding of the CDS signal and retrieving of the clock, one-shot circuits may be used.
Also a simulation CDS (de)coding and a monostable, non-retriggerable or oneshot multivibrator with Microcap 9.
Midi control (30kb): Is a test program for the sound blaster card. You can manually try all 128 instruments.
Stoel (29kb): These are projection formulas of three-D programs. This program has been published earlier by me in RUN of Nico Baaijens in the newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.

Javascript graphic equivalent
Bezier (30kb) tp5 does not understand 'asm'.: Application of the Bezier formulas as used in Coreldraw. The formulas can be found on internet by looking for the word "bezier".
Orgeltje (3.5kb): Organ with notes based on a random mlr generator. The electrical equivalent has once been used in a transmitter used for fox hunting.
Slang (28kb): Test of the randomizer in Turbo Pascal
Piano (5.4kb): Playing Piano with the aid of the mouse
Pythagorean tree (28kb): An alternative way to draw the Pythagorean tree by rotating and inverting boxes

Boter, Kaas en Eieren (tictactoe) (9kb) - self-learning

In the beginning the program doesn't know anything and it is easy to beat it.
The program learns from winning and losing and improves it's intelligence.

Machine Language to Turbo Pascal 6

With these programs you can translate and manipulate program files (exe or com) with the aid of sourcer (sr.exe) and debug.com into TP6.

DOS Pascal programs that generate HTML files:

Sitemap builder (15 kb.): This program builds a Site Map of your website in HTML code.
Text in a circle shape (17 kb): DOS Pascal program generates an HTML page with circle-shaped text.
Characterset viewer (7 kb): It is possible to generate all the different character sets of your browser directly with javascript (see script.method), but a better method is to make with a DOS Pascal program an HTML file that will generate these character sets.

Pascal tip:
Always keep a copy of TURBO.TP in your Pascal developement directory. So that you can configure the Pascal editor separately.

The reason that a tp6 program will not compile in tp5 is often that tp5 uses "inline" and does not understand "asm".
The reason that a tp5 program will not compile in tp3 is often that tp3 does not use units.

Assembler source code

Reken (10kb): TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) program for calculating decimal to hex vice versa. Useful to have it running in the background while programming in a DOS environment.
Textline (2.5kb): TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) program to draw lines in the text mode of a text editor. First run textline and then start the editor.

Doom][ wad files

With DOOM you can learn your child, with an age of two, the interaction between the mouse and the computer screen.

Doors and Zoo (38 kb): My grandson loved to open and close automatic doors when he was almost three years old. I started first with a level for doom 2 with 55 doors, afterwards I added the zoo.
Moving floors (19 kb): Another playground without monsters for my grandson. For me a nice opportunity to try out many moving objects in doom2.
Suppressing the violent demo (4 kb): A small pascal program that alters the doom2 wad file.
Doompicture (30 kb): This program shows pictures inside Doom1 and Doom2 WAD files.
Doomprint (68 kb): This program prints Doom1 and Doom2 maps with high resolution to the HP deskjet printer.
