This is almost exactly how I thought Greenland would be. Lots of colourful houses, friendly people and dogs everywhere. These dogs fill up every empty spot in and around Sisimiut. Their smell and cries fill every corner. How characteristic! I would love to sit on one of those sledges and fly over the snow. But there is no snow. There is nothing to do for the dogs but to wait for winter. They seem to be even more bored than I was in Kangerlussuaq.
I asked the friendly taxi driver if these dogs would bite me. Had he been a dog, he answered, he most certainly would have jumped me. Iím glad he is human.
